NIHOMBASHI

The Nihombashi district was a major mercantile center during ​the Edo period (around 400 years ago), with the "Zero Point" road marker in the middle of Nihombashi Bridge. This marks Nihombashi as the starting point for Japan's national highway network even today, and in a way is considered to be the center of Japan.
